More than 700 people plan to carry their witness to the 111th Congress during Ecumenical Advocacy Days, March 13-16.
Participants discuss with their congressional representatives and staffs ways of addressing such concerns as global warming, hunger and lack of clean water.
The meeting in Washington, D.C., centers on the theme, “Enough for All Creation,” based on John 10:10: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”
