Sex & seminaries

According to a report, U.S. theological students preparing for the ministry aren’t adequately prepared to deal with sexual issues — despite denominational debates about sexuality.

The report, “Sex and the Seminary,” says seminaries must do more to help graduates minister to parishioners about sexual issues.

The Religious Institute on Sexual Morality, Justice and Healing conducted the study with Union Theological Seminary in New York.
