Researcher Eugene C. Roehlkepartain, co-director of the Center for Spiritual Development in Childhood and Adolescence, Minneapolis, said youth aged 12 to 25 view spirituality as an important part of their lives.
And most wish they had more opportunities to talk to others about it.
One in five youth (18 percent) said no one helps them spiritually.
The center’s two-year study followed more than 7,000 youth from 16 countries on six continents.
