When Richard and Linda Staats, Phoenix, were married at Memorial Lutheran Church at Iowa State University, Ames, in 1967, they received a print that remained rolled up and moved from place to place throughout 40 years of marriage and ministry.
While visiting the Lutheran Center in Chicago, Linda Staats recognized artwork hanging outside the meeting room.
At home she found their Robert O. Hodgell print safely in storage and has since donated it to the center’s art collection.
