Jesus art in book form

Artwork showing Jesus’ Jewish heritage by La Crosse, Wis., artist Clara Maria Goldstein first created controversy when it was hung in the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, La Crosse (March 2007, "Artist shows Jesus' Jewish heritage").

Painting: the carpenterThe issue was later resolved and Goldstein donated paintings to a fundraiser sponsored by the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Foundation.

Now Clarity Publishing in La Crosse is publishing The Missing Paintings of Jesus as a Jew: Jesus, Tell Us About Your Judaism, a book of her paintings with biblical citations and commentary explaining the art (due out on April 12).
