Help for Haiti

A Lutheran World Relief initiative aims to improve food security in Haiti, which is still recovering from the 2008 hurricane season. Hurricanes Fay, Gustav, Hanna and Ike devastated Haiti’s “rice bowl” area of Gonaives.

LWR works with World Neighbors to establish a community seed bank, rebuild homes, provide access to clean water and train community leaders in emergency preparedness.
