In November the Blue Star Mothers headquartered at Peace Lutheran Church, Edmond, Okla., worked with the Henderson Hills Baptist Church to pack Christmas boxes for deployed troops worldwide.
The boxes contained necessities and niceties.
Since 2006 Edmond’s Blue Star Mothers has sent 5,000 boxes to troops.
