Regular worship attendance may significantly reduce the risk of early death, say researchers at Yeshiva University, Jerusalem, and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York.
For seven years, researchers studied 92,395 women aged 50 to 79 from a variety of faiths.
Women who worshiped weekly had 20 percent less risk of early mortality than nonattenders.
