Spitting seeds for evangelism

Larger-than-life inflatable purple gorillas aren’t usually used for outreach, unless you’re in Huntsville, Ala.

The gorilla is the first thing visitors see when they arrive at the annual Cool Community Carnival hosted by All Saints Lutheran Church.

Face painting, hair wraps and watermelon-seed spitting are part of the day.

At one tent people can write confidential prayer requests for a prayer team.

All games, activities, food and refreshments are free.

Any donations go back into the community.
