People with traumatic brain injuries can recover in a new residential facility in Moorhead, Minn., run by Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota.
Transitions was the idea of Tim Sporre, a registered nurse and LSSM director.
Patricia Flicker, LSSM development director, said the facility addresses “a gap here for needed service.”
It serves patients who have been discharged from a hospital but still require assistance before going home.
LSSM plans to open three other such facilities in Minnesota.
