In September The Lutheran asked readers for assistance in picking cover articles for the year ahead. The magazine offered a list of 19 ideas and left a space for other suggestions.
The “winners” were obvious from the votes submitted by mail, fax,e-mail and online, with one coming from the “other” category and another getting the nod for its importance to the church as a whole—coverage of the 2009 Churchwide Assembly leading the magazine’s September issue.
