500 trees for Luther

Lutheran and other churches around the world are sponsoring trees for a special “Luther Garden” in Wittenberg, Germany, to mark the 500th anniversary in 2017 of the Reformation.

The first of 500 trees will be planted on Reformation Day, Oct. 31 this year.

The garden is planned around a landscaped adaptation of the Luther Rose.
