Beginning in July, three staffers from Wittenberg University, Springfield, Ohio, toured the nation for 22 days in an attempt to meet as many alumni as possible.
Traveling in a specially decorated van, the group visited 17 cities and traversed more than 7,000 miles.
The tour was undertaken to affirm the university’s mission in the modern world.
Alumni covered much of the trip’s cost, and donations to environmental funds were made to offset the journey’s carbon impact.
