Elaine came stomping into the room, fresh from school. Planting her feet, she asked a question that every parent must face: "Is it true there is no Santa Claus?"
Her mother said, "Yes, that's true." Then Elaine asked, "And I suppose there is no Easter Bunny either?" She was told, "That's right, there is no Easter Bunny." Elaine persisted, "Then what about Jesus?"
