While excavating in Jordan, archaeologists believe they may have found the world’s oldest church in a cave.
The 36-by-21-foot space is located under the altar of St. Georgeous Church in Rihab, Mafraq, and dates to A.D. 33 to A.D. 70, archaeologists said.
If confirmed, it would be the oldest known place of Christian worship.
