Accessibility awards given

Hope Lutheran Church, Fargo, N.D., and Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Askov, Minn., won the 2008 ELCA Accessibility Awards based on physical accessibility of their buildings, programs and resources, and shared ministries around their congregations.

The congregations were chosen by the ELCA interunit group on disability based in Chicago.

The ELCA Vocation and Education unit is responsible for disability ministries.
