Lutheran World Federation member churches to remove obstacles to women’s ordination and witness, said participants at a recent
LWF consultation.
Participants challenged
LWF members, including the
ELCA , to see female clergy as an asset for new ecumenical work and to listen to positive experiences female clergy have on churches within and beyond the
LWF.
