Pursuing greater cooperation

Representatives of the ELCA and the Mennonite Church USA met in February in Elkhart, Ind., to pursue greater cooperation.

They discussed the raising of Lazarus biblical text to show how Lutherans and Mennonites can unbind one another from historical trespass and violence.

The representatives also looked at local opportunities for further cooperative work in Ohio, Indiana and Pennsylvania.
