Cradled in God's hand

Rituals remind us that all of life rests in God's care

The ring remained in a drawer for 12 years. Occasionally I took it out, thinking I should do something with it. But my engagement ring always found its way back to the drawer. That changed last year. I took the ring to a jeweler and explored options for something new. We came up with a ring rich with symbolism. It reminds me of the good things from my 20-year marriage and signals the wonderful things in my life since my divorce. And the ring's shape reminds me of being cradled in God's loving hand.
