DVD, book feature Hanson among 'great spiritual leaders'

First came the film In God’s Name, in which ELCA Presiding Bishop Mark S. Hanson was profiled as one of the world’s 12 top spiritual leaders by French documentary filmmakers and brothers Jules and Gedeon Naudet. It aired on CBS Dec. 23, 2007. Now a DVD of the documentary was produced, and the ELCA offers an accompanying study guide.

National Geographic recently published In God’s Name: Wisdom from the World’s Great Spiritual Leaders (available from National Geographic's Web store), which captures Hanson and the others in a series of color photos from their daily lives and includes brief essays about their faith.
