As an intern at United Lutheran Church, Eugene, Ore., seminarian Katya Ouchakof helped teach the fourth- and fifth-grade Sunday school class. On the first day of class, Ouchakof said she and her co-teacher, Jon Brandt, realized this “group of five very energetic and sports-focused” youth really had no hope of following the provided curriculum.
