Bible school at Shepherd of the Hill Lutheran Church, Lockport, Ill., reflects the underwater theme of “The Great Bible Reef.”
Members went all out for the kids’ enjoyment, covering sanctuary walls with blue tarps painted with underwater scenes and sea creatures.
Cupcake holders, egg cartons, toilet paper rolls and pool “noodles” were cut up to create an underwater coral formation in the narthex, complete with a 15-foot sailboat.
