At a recent Bible study, our pastor asked us how we share our faith and reminded us of 1 Peter 3:15: “Always be ready to make your defense to anyone who demands from you an accounting for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and reverence.” One way I gently share my faith is by each week posting my church bulletin in my work cubicle. People notice the bulletins because the covers are always bright, interesting prints. They’re welcome to read them. Once in awhile someone will ask me about my church, and this sometimes starts respectful conversations about faith. It allows me to invite them to join us some Sunday, and sometimes I get an invite right back. Even if we never see the inside of each other’s house of worship, we’ve opened the door to the sharing of God’s love for us.
