What's a godparent to do?

An 11-year-old, when asked what his favorite part of the summer was, answered: "Reading comics with my godmother." A woman in her 60s made a long plane trip to visit her godmother. It had been decades since they'd seen each other, but they had kept in touch all those years. A teenager, when asked what she'd rescue from her burning house, named a stuffed toy that she'd had since she was a baby and a quilt her godmother had made.
