Evangelism tips

The evangelism committee of Epiphany Lutheran, Winston-Salem, N.C., offers a program to strengthen outreach activities by the congregation’s youth. The “Faith Sharing at Home” program encourages youth and parents to engage in a variety of activities distributed weekly in newsletters or bulletin inserts created to help youth better understand faith issues and, as a result, become more effective evangelists in their daily lives. The church also offers a 38-page “Evangelism: Strategies for Local Congregations” pamphlet, developed in conjunction with the North Carolina Synod Evangelism Team. It’s available in booklet form, loose sheets for printing or on a disc. Contact Donald G. Hayes by email or at 336-760-5789.
