A service for squirmers?

Trinity Lutheran Church of Manhattan, New York, N.Y.

Trinity Lutheran of Manhattan, which draws about 100 people to worship each week, is a little church in the country’s biggest city.

Its outward focus helps draw new worshipers, said its pastor, Heidi Neumark, who has watched the multicultural congregation’s attendance triple in the past three years. Trinity opens its doors each afternoon to the neighborhood children, and weekly adult classes give immigrants a chance to learn English.
