More hurricane help

Offers of free fall tuition for hurricane-affected students came from Augustana College, Rock Island, Ill.; Capital University, Columbus, Ohio; Dana College, Blair, Neb.; Gettysburg [Pa.] College; Lenoir-Rhyne College, Hickory, N.C. (see "Loving their college neighbors," page 50 in the print edition); Midland Lutheran College, Fremont, Neb.; and Thiel College, Greenville, Pa. Several offered housing for displaced school employees.

Displaced students could enroll at Texas Lutheran University, Seguin; Roanoke College, Salem, Va.; Wagner College, Staten Island, N.Y.; California Lutheran University, Thousand Oaks; Pacific Lutheran University, Tacoma, Wash.; Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, Pa.; Muhlenberg College, Allentown, Pa.; and Carthage College, Kenosha, Wis. Augsburg College, Minneapolis, and Wartburg College, Waverly, Iowa, offered tuition assistance on a case-by-case basis.
