Sunday schoolers send gift of comfort

In a mail delivery after the tragedy, Peace Lutheran in Alexandria, Va. received a package from Peace Lutheran in Redding, Pa. Inside were over 100 cards from Sunday school children expressing their sympathy and prayers to Sunday school children at Peace, Alexandria. "It is just overwhelming," says Mark Olsen, pastor at Peace, Alexandria. "As we are trying to be the presence of Christ to some in the midst of their crisis, others are doing that for us." Their congregation's Sunday schoolers plan to add to their own cards, then forward the gift to Sunday school children in New York.
