The Magazine of The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America

Point & click

A project of the ELCA Southeastern Synod, the site's vision is to connect "transformational ministers across and beyond the Lutheran church." Emphasizing discipleship, outreach, ministry teams and small groups, the smartly designed site provides resources, articles and networking opportunities for leaders and congregations. Resources are grouped into such clever categories as "basic tools" and "power tools." The "transformational vocabulary" article under "basic tools" is a great place for those new to the concepts the site promotes.

The ELCA's new rural Web portal offers articles, networking opportunities and "In the Face of the West Wind" a photo-driven essay on Midwestern churches. The site offers advocacy and policy information. Its interactive features allow users to contact the ELCA's rural desk, Small Town and Rural Ministry (STaR) Alliance, and join related LutherLink discussions.
