Here's a way to lift up ministry candidates

A public radio program conducts a nationwide search for young classical musicians. Those chosen perform and are interviewed by the host. A recent guest not only described his training as a vocalist but his call to ministry, which came at age 14.

"My pastor told me to wait and pray for one year to be sure it was a call from God," he said. "After that year, my congregation let me begin to preach, and I became the minister of music." Excerpts from his sermons were played for listeners — what a stirring passion he has to proclaim God's love in Christ!
