Marva Dawn's April "Faithways" column (page 6) spent much time quoting experts with little scriptural documentation. Granted, the word "homosexual" doesn't appear in Scripture per se. But Paul's description of homosexuality in practice appears in Romans 1:24-27. In non-theological language: "If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it 'ain't' a cow." The gospel of Jesus Christ, however, compels us to welcome all people ... for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of Christ.
