Integrating faith and science

The connection is important to many readers

Thanks for the physics and faith articles (August, page 12). The wonderful gift to me, at 82 years, was the assurance that the kindergarten science I encountered in my college science courses in the 1930s and 1940s was indeed eons short of explaining God's plans for the universe. Now I can start studying again the wonders of our physical world and know with absolute certainty that the connection I have firmly felt with God ... and my physical universe is truly real and not a figment of my fertile imagination.
