Shortly after Martin Luther married Katherine von Bora in 1525, he remarked: "There is a lot to get used to in the first year of marriage. One wakes up in the morning and finds a pair of pigtails on the pillow that were not there before." We love that image of pigtails as the sign of change.
In honor of Reformation Day (Oct. 31), we're offering other examples of how Luther used his everyday experiences to nurture faith.
