The hand-clapping, foot-stomping crowd of more than 300 who came to Atlanta Nov. 1-3 for the 2002 Multicultural Mission Institute experienced something that for most was an emotional first-time occurrence, particularly since Sept. 11, 2001.
As the conference closed, participants were sent out with a proclamation of the gospel in Arabic, a language few had heard outside news broadcasts.
