The five-year Renewing Worship project to develop materials to succeed the Lutheran Book of Worship will be a complex of resources, Michael Burk told the ELCA Church Council at its Nov. 15-17 meeting in Chicago. Burk, ELCA director for worship, said, "Are we beyond the point where a common book helps us remember who we are together? My sense is that we're not quite beyond it."
