Just in time for Epiphany, Kregel Publications (www.kregel.com; 616-451-4775) offers The Wise Men's Tale.
The format is the same as The Shepherd's Tale mentioned on page 42 of the December 2002 issue. On each page is a question. By sliding out the page, children can reveal the answer and a secret part of the picture.
This book is a great way to introduce children up to age 5 to the story of the wise men. The text is simple, and the colorful artwork is sure to delight. The books are also made of sturdy cardboard to withstand a lot of "sliding and seeking."
