As a young man, David Trexler used to think the stories his father wrote for Dial-A-Story were stupid. Funny how, years later, those stories don't seem so silly after all.
Trexler, pastor of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Jasper, Ind., resurrected his late father's ministry of recording inspirational stories, designed to spread the love of God through short entertaining phone messages.
