After decades of communist persecution, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Russia and Other States (ELCROS) dedicated a new seminary Sept. 26. The seminary in Novosaratovka, near St. Petersburg, is housed in what was St. Catherine's Lutheran Church, confiscated by the Soviet regime in the 1930s.
