My family is multiracial, and I'm the only African American person in our congregation. Our pastor was preaching about the power of words and how such a small part of our bodies (the tongue) can do the greatest harm.
He related a story about "Ricky" and his buddies walking to school when black kids came their way. Billy, one of the black kids, threw a rock at Ricky and his friends, and Ricky let out the "n" word.
