Sometimes children find that their lessons come in fun and creative packages.
Vacation Bible school students at Zion Lutheran Church, Atalissa, Iowa, put on a giant puppet show to learn their theme "Never too young (or too small) to be part of God's work."
"We're doing David and Goliath this year because the kids are always challenging me to make bigger puppets," said Terry Mahnke, pastor of Zion. Goliath was about 9-feet tall and hung between volleyball poles.
