Food and mail are two things college students love. Members of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Littleton, Colo., combined those two loves into an effective ministry to their members away at school.
Since Holy Trinity's "Cookies for College Students" program began in the 1980s, a committee of parents has assembled the tasty care packages to the delight of members' children — and even grandchildren.
The group meets the first Saturday of each month to pack and mail cookies.
