Living faith is an exciting ride

 

On a recent flight I learned the hard facts of discipleship. I was seated in the exit row, and a flight attendant soon appeared with a card. With a smile backed by a firm voice, she advised me to read it carefully.

It said: "You are seated in an exit row. You may be asked to help in an emergency."

It said: "You are seated in an exit row. You may be asked to help in an emergency."

We should use those cards on Sunday morning. Before an usher seats members they should be advised, "You are about to be seated in a church pew. You will be asked to help in a life-or-death situation."
