He's accountable

Harry Thomalla is trying to work himself out of a job. Although the accountant retired several years ago, it didn't stick. Since then, Thomalla, a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich., has used his expertise in financial software and accounting to train his congregation and others how to keep their financial records up to date.

And once the church workers he trains can run the software, his work is mostly complete.
