Davey Hansen and his talking dog, Goliath, just may be returning to television. A TV series aired by Lutherans during the '50s through the early '80s, Davey and Goliath may be revived following a licensing agreement signed by the ELCA and Heat Licensing Co. of Sequim, Wash.
The agreement allows creation of Davey and Goliath merchandise to raise funds so new programs can be made. Heat Licensing plans to work with another organization to market existing Davey and Goliath episodes as well. Well-known to baby boomers, the series contained Christian themes. Stay tuned.
