If you've ever taken a hotel towel, kept a library book or slipped a cafe glass into your purse or coat pocket, preacher J. John has a message for you: Repent and return.
The popular Anglican preacher is in the third year of his Ten Commandment preaching tour in England.
After a church rally in Liverpool that focused on the eighth commandment— "Thou shalt not steal"— conscience-stricken listeners filled large containers at the local Anglican cathedral with goods they had pilfered: hotel towels, a bathrobe, cash, CDs, videotapes, hospital crutches, library books, shovels and sterling silver.
Where ownership can be established, the church will return goods to the rightful owners.
