Just in time for Reformation Sunday, a special DVD version of the 1953 movie Martin Luther is available from Gateway Films/Vision Video.
The Academy-Award nominated, black-and-white film about Luther's life includes new features: a documentary history of the making of the movie in Germany just after World War II; footage of trips to historic Wittenberg, Eisenach, Worms, the Wartburg and Augsburg; background information on the filmmakers and actors; and Spanish, English, Portuguese, German or English closed-captioning language options.
