Just in time for Thanksgiving, the holiday frequently known more for gluttony than gratefulness, comes this poll about food in heaven from Newsweek.
Evangelical Protestants are most likely to expect "plenty of good food" in heaven, with 56 percent anticipating a celestial feast as compared with 47 percent of all Christians. Unlike Roman Catholics and other Protestants, they also are more likely to see heaven as a place of earthly comforts for people in earthly form.
Table reservations may be necessary: 76 percent of Americans believe in heaven. Only 60 percent believe in hell.
