Bono, lead singer of the Irish band U2, recently created a nonprofit initiative to build support for addressing the AIDS crisis and to work for debt reduction in African countries. He "appeared" at concerts and festivals throughout the summer in a three-minute video telling about his organization, DATA--Debt, AIDS, Trade for Africa. He urged fans to get in touch with political leaders to express their support for making AIDS and poverty relief in Africa a priority. Now 24 other Christian artists are endorsing DATA.
