Missouri keeps rollin' along

The LCMS triennial convention supports more of the same

Depending on which delegate you talked to, the theme of the Lutheran Church­-Missouri Synod triennial was either "circle the wagons" or "tighten the noose." The most conservative Missourians were pleased that the convention firmed up the LCMS' conservative drift, while "moderates" chafed at resolutions giving more power to re-elected President Al Barry to discipline pastors and district presidents who step out of line.
