I'd like to express my delight at seeing the April issue enhanced by so
many original artworks, especially one of my favorites, the
Resurrection of Christ by Piero della Francesca (page 53). I've always
wondered why The Lutheran didn't take advantage of this incredibly rich
source of biblical illustration. Rembrandt alone could be the subject
of an entire series on biblical art, to say nothing of the vast body of
Renaissance painting from Italy. I hope we'll see more of these
treasures from art history in future issues.
